Juliette Lepoutre comes to film production after a series of key management positions in the high tech business. She has worked for over fifteen years with Silicon Valley companies, where she specialized in developing international markets. Based in San Francisco, California from 1991 till 2006, her territories included Europe, Japan, Pacific Rim, and Latin America. She is cofounder of the production company MPM Film. Lepoutre was producer on Hooked by Adrian Sitaru (Venice Days and Toronto 2008), Port of Memory by Kamal Aljafari (Cinéma du Réel 2010), Flower Seller by Ihab Jadallah (Clermont Ferrand 2011), Tarr Béla, I used to be a filmmaker by Jean-Marc Lamoure (FID Marseilles 2013), Dzma by Teona Grenade (Rotterdam 2014) and coproducer on Box by Florin Serban (Karlovy Vary 2015), Xenia by Panos Koutras (Cannes Un Certain Regard 2014), NN by Hector Galvez (Rome competition, Rotterdam 2014), The Turin Horse by Bela Tarr (Silver Bear, Berlin 2011) and Historias by Julia Murat (Venice Days 2011). As an expert in international co-productions she has participated in several panels and workshops in Toronto, Rotterdam and at the Berlinale Talents. She served as jury member at TIFF 2015 and is currently in the selection committee of the Cinefondation of the Cannes Film Festival.
Pierre Menahem started his career in the film industry in 1997 working at Celluloid Dreams as director of sales and acquisitions, supervising the marketing of a catalogue of 200 titles of acclaimed directors (Kitano, Kiarostami, Dardennes, Sokourov, Jia Zhangke, Bellochio, Dumont, Audiard, Ozon…) and attending all principal festival and markets (Sundance, Berlin, Cannes, Tokyo, Filmart HK, Locarno, Venice, Toronto, AFM…). He founded Scalpel Films in 2004 and then created a sales division in production company MPM Film. During this period he served as jury member in several festivals (San Francisco, Jerusalem, Palm Springs, Belfort, Annecy, BAFICI, Holland Film Meeting). As an expert in international sales he participated in many workshops such as « Produire au Sud » (Bogota, Bangkok, Recife, Buenos Aires, Nantes), « The Producers Network » (Cannes), « Mediterranean Films Crossing Borders » (San Sebastian, Berlin, Malta), and EAVE. He was a programmer at the Belfort International Film Festival for 4 years and a consultant to the Film Office of the Rotterdam Film Festival. He is currently part of the selection committee of the Hubert Bals Film Fund and Cinemart.
